T-Rex is definitely my favorite dinosaur ever.

I’ve always loved dinosaurs since I was only 5 years old. And to this day, I still keep up to date on every bit of information that I learn about them

Size, power, smell, sights, intelligence, all pushed to their limits. Rex was truly the pinnacle of what a theropod could be
If given more time to evolve, it could have potentially gotten bigger and possibly smarter. There has never been a predator coming close to what Rex was since

My eleven year old son, who has already dedicated his life to the study of paleontology, and is writing the first script for his own impending YouTube channel, was absolutely spellbound for the entire episode. So, well done to you there.

However, he has been speaking of nothing but dinosaurs for the past 90 minutes and shows no signs of slowing down. Today is Sunday. The one day a week that I have even the slightest chance of talking with him on a subject other than dinosaurs... NOPE! NOT TODAY! I'm sending you my therapy bill!

In all seriousness though, well done. This is exactly what is needed these days! Short, engaging, high production value fact-based videos, narrated with passion. I'm glad to be getting in so close to the ground floor of such an amazing channel.

Now, no matter what other dinosaurs you may research today, do try to make some Time... For... Fun... Toodle-oo!

Dear Baldermort and Historosaurus, thank you for bringing life to the ancient past and all it had entailed.

The T. Rex is the largest, most powerful theropod currently known to science. It was similar in length to the Giganotosaurus, but outweighed it by at least 2-3 tons. The Giganotossaurus holotype was estimated to have weighed 7 tons, and the paratype 8.2 tons. T. Rex Sue is estimated to have weighed in at 9.7 tons and T. Rex Scotty at 10.6 tons. Unless and until a larger, more powerful theropod is eventually discovered, the T. Rex is quite simply in a class of it's own among theropods.

Later finds showed T-Rex weighed out to be the heaviest of the land based predators and it's hip bone showed it could turn on a head of a dime. It could also fast walk 15 miles an hour with a IQ of a Chimp but I don't know about that last one. I can't see a overgrown Bird being that smart. Loved the video.

I'm happy we have someone who can be a suitable David Attenbourough replacement. Baldemort for Nature documentaries.

Thank you for devoting an entire episode to this legend.

Tastes like chicken 🍗 I used to pretend popcorn were people and I was a T-Rex when i was young. Then years later I saw a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon strip with Calvin doing the same thing. And today I am reminded how old I've become yet I'm still young enough to go make some popcorn, cover it in melted butter, and watch this video while pretending once again that I am eating people because I'm a hungry T-Rex.
Thanks GK Natural History channel. 🦖

The idea that a T-Rex engaged in cow-tipping of Triceratops is highly amusing to me

There may be larger carnivorous dinosaurs, BUT NONE have the jaw muscles and teeth that match T-Rex. Like some people (and JPIII ) imagined a Spiny winning in a battle with T-Rex . . . No way.

The St.louis Science Center has a VERY realistic T-Rex standing over a Triceratops with a mortal wound. If anyone is ever visiting St.louis the Science Center is a must see attraction 😉
