This was made in 2005 and the CGI still holds up to this day, incredible movie

One of the greatest moments in cinematic CGI history. Way ahead of its time.

And somehow 2004, 2005 CGI looks better than 300million dollar movies in 2023. 😂😢

7:12 Funny how Kong checked if it's still biting.

The fact Kong was in that fight, and still managed to be gentle enough not to crush Ann in his hand in the process is Amazing

This does NOT look nearly 20 years old. This movie has aged so well it's nuts

Say what you want, but the fight choreography in this scene is top tier.
Major props to the teams that worked on this.

This movie has a special place in my heart. Still the very best King Kong movie to date, this version of Skull-Island is just PEFRECT in my opinion, the creature designs are amazing, the special effects are outstanding. This is how you do a big-monster movie. 👌

The fact that this scene alone took around 1 year & 15% of the entire budget is a testament to the fact that people loved their work those days.

And it was done Two decades us another mind-boggling thing😮

Even accounting for the Monsterverse stuff, this is probably the best fight in Kong's entire career.

6:18 That moment will always bring me goosebumps. When she realizes he's not an enemy. Powerful stuff.

The T-Rex battle is my favorite part of the movie because it’s the part where Ann finally sees Kong’s true colors. He’s not the enemy and is there to protect her and their relationship begins to blossom. The fact held his own against three gigantic T-Rex’s showed how much of a badass he truly is. After all, he’s the King!

Little did Kong know that one day he would fight the mighty Godzilla😍

I like how the filmmakers were able to craft such an astonishingly choreographed action scene while also keeping Kong's movements believable and true to what's possible, physiologically, for a gorilla. And how the CGI is more convincing than 95% of movies today.

I can't believe this is after Godzilla Final Wars. The CGI looks amazing. And Godzilla Final Wars uses custom. Both movies are goated and there's no debate to make.

I like how with every version of the 1933 movie, kong becomes more of a boss.
*1933:* He fights a T. rex
*2005:* Fights 3 T. Rex’s
*2017:* Could step on 3 T Rex’s
