We've since lost 2 rexes so far one was killed by the spinosaurus, the other killed by Giganotosaurus, rexy herself would aslo be dead if it were not for blue and the mosasaur teaming up to bring down the Indominus rex

Special effects have actually gone backwards. As a kid, I was terrified of Rexy and the two Rex's in Lost World. Stan Winstons animatronics were amazing. I think that's something they've really failed at with the JW movies. The dinosaurs feel less like actual dangerous animals, and more like computer generated monsters. The film industry in general has an over-reliance on CGI these days, and I think it's actually a bad thing.
