I just left my husband a week ago. This describes him to a t. Every single thing and my body almost shut down because of the stress it was going through. He wasn’t only emotionally abusive, he was very physically abusive as well. He isolated me from absolutely everyone and had me thinking I was the crazy one. I’m doing so much better, even only after a week. I’m so excited for what is in store for me on my healing journey. I pray for anyone who is scared to leave. Because I stayed for way too long because of that fear.

To all the guys that escaped or are escaping a female covert narcissist - here are some things for you:
1. You'll never get closure, she'll never own what she has done.

2. She never loved you, you were just a tool to her, she cannot love.

3. You are worthy - she learned your weaknesses and threw them at you because she knew it would devalue you.

4. The bad events did really happen - she may have confused you, denied and lied. They happened - she cheated, she lied, she satisfied any desire she had whenever she had it. Gaslighting is real.

4. She picked you because you have empathy, you are a protector and a provider - despite what she said.

Lastly, you'll have something she never has - one day you'll have a meaningful, loving and caring relationship with someone special - she will only ever have trauma bonds and victims.
