Thank you for the demo, Sir! Do you have recommendations for how to set up a Maya+Unreal project where 1-3 artists are collaborating? I've looked into version control solutions like Github and Perforce but it seems like overkill.

Hi Sir Wade, this was such a great video! I got a question on how the connection is made between the rigs, since I feel like the example shown was made using a mixamo default rig and animated on the joint. So how would this work on more complex rigs built in Maya? Do you need to build an exact copy of the rig in Unreal for it to work or are you able to export it from Maya somehow? Thanks again!

Hi, Sir, now I see free packages from UE, AI for animation, a lot of recorded anims on mocap. Basically they simplify the work, but how often animators in studios use them and should I use them often ? If yes, then what then more to practice on, if I can take from there anime and adjust for myself?

Hello I have a problem, I have Maya and Unreal setup but Unreal does not detect Maya, I tried to tinker with the UDP but nothing either...

what about deformers like blendshape/deltamush/wrap? will it link over to UE5 as well?

Excellent video thanks! can I ask, is there any special process when you want to render your scene in Unreal with the sequencer, do we just use the normal route "movie render queue" and leave the live link to Maya connected? thanks 😊

Hi, Sir Wade, I am working on a project where I have multiple blendshapes on a mesh, i want that mesh to animate inside UNREAL. My previous workflow was to export an alembic into UNREAL but the size of almebic is around 60gb so UNREAL gets stuck. Any workaround via livelink for that.

Are you able to do this with characters that have control rigs within maya? I don't have much experience with Unreal but I would like to understand how to import my keyframed animations (Non retargeted motion capture) from Maya into Unreal.

My message bus source list is empty, so I cannot connect. Anyone else facing this issue? Im using Maya 2024, unreal 5.4.
I have Unreal installed on my D drive, and Maya on my C, does this affect anything? I've tried disabling the Windows firewall, but I still cannot connect; any help is appreciated! thank you
