** HONEST REVIEW for people considering this as their FIRST VR headset **



Quest 2 is great for beginners! The only thing I have against the Quest 2 is the illusion of the price. Yeah it's a cheap headset but in order to make it comfortable you have to buy comfort straps and the games are quite expensive in comparison to steam sales and all, (which you have to buy a pretty expensive PC or gaming laptop to run, around $1000 or more depending on where you're from) plus they will without a doubt sell your data in compensation for how cheap the base model of the headset is. I am just keeping it real.

If this is your first time going into VR and you really want to try it out, there is probably no better headset to start off with than this Its much cheaper than other headsets considering other headsets are more expensive and require a gaming PC
So yes I would recommend it if it is your first time in VR, the games are great (although they come slowly. Sometimes there is a drought of games. The store desperately needs more AAA games that have replayability and go for at least over 6 hours or more, as most games now are only hitting around 3 hours of gameplay.) But other than that, VR is a great way to the game and you really can't get the same gaming experience anywhere else.

I hope this review helps you with your decision, as not many people really keep it real, lets be real lol, see it from a realist's point of view

I bought an Oculus Quest 2 in 2021 as my first VR headset so the answer is yes. The only decision that might be hard is whether or not to get the 64GB version or the 256GB version. I got the 64GB version because I figured that my family most likely wouldn't have a lot of games stored on the device at one time. Keep in mind that the 64GB version has only about 53GB of space available for games due to the operating system files taking up 11GB of space. If you want more flexibility and don't want to worry about running out of space for games then I recommend spending the extra $100 and getting the 256GB version of the Quest 2.
