My family actually surprised me early for my birthday with a 256 gb oculus quest 2. My dad went out and got the original case and the original link cable (both being ridiculously expensive), and when I asked him how much it was, he was like “don’t worry about it.” Felt really guilty somehow.

Honestly, when the transaction is complete, they have no say over what you do with it anymore, you could’ve gone to the middle of town and set up a booth were you let people try it out for free without anyone being able to do anything. Them trying to say that they can’t let you leave with it is complete cap, they’re just trying to not get into trouble with Meta for selling it too early by doing everything they can to convince you to return it.

I bought the first oculus rift then I heard about the quest 1 and in my country u can return items if it’s working and in good condition in 50 days and then I heard about maybe a new quest was gonna come out so on the 49th day I also returned in the quest 1 and then bought the quest 2 in a couple months after that
