Churches often have statues of Mary and some saints. Catholics do not worship Mary or the saints, but ask them to pray to God on their behalf. This is known as intercession. Statues can also help to focus a person's mind on an aspect of prayer or worship.

To ask the Mother of Jesus to intercede for us is not idolatry. In the Catholic Church - they believe like all Christians do - salvation through Jesus alone! But they also believe in the communion of saints (those righteous ones who are in the presence of God to give God the Father praise right now in heaven).

Focus on worshipping Jesus rather than judging other Christians. May the demons of fear, judgement, ridicule, pride, and hatred be cast from your presence! In the name of Jesus Christ! Our Lord and Savior! ✝️

Exodus 20:3–6

As believers of Jesus Christ we shouldn’t worship an image. Or to worship other Saints rather than God. In the Bible in the book of revelation 22:8-9

8 And i john saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before feet of the angel who he’d shewed me these things.

9 Then saith he unto me, see thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book; worship God.

We shouldn’t have images of God because we don’t know what he looked like or other people in the Bible we should only worship the true living God but praises and give him honor and worshiping him and not worship the servants of God.

Why do we need to even make statues as representation of God. We have the Bible and the holy spirit bro. Stop using the old testament broo.
We are already in the new convenant and God is no longer in the ark of the convenant brooo.
He's in us
We are temples of God
We are living sacrifices

We have the holy spirit
So all this stuff are uneccesary 😊

God doesn't need images or statues
His interest is man

God forbid the heathens from making and worshipping pagan images. He also had religious images of pure gold be made for His altar and Ark. He allows religious images pertaining to His Church and Kingdom. Catholics do not worship images, statues or anyone except God, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
