Safety note: Although I wasn't wearing it here for convenience while filming, it's a good idea to have eye protection of some sort while hitting the steel wedges, as chips can fly off them. Ear protection is advisable too.

Great video a much faster way of getting the wood ready for logs to split first. It'll dry faster too

Nice work but about time savings the tool for grip that log is not needed, and it's saving time when you don't use it

There is a flaw to your logic, logs loose there moisture much much faster though the cut off end grain, so this method will slow down drying time significantly.
