How to Disassemble and Clean Your Birdfy Feeder - Birdfy Feeder Tutorial

1. Turn the antenna 90 degrees sideways to avoid damaging it. Unbuckle the roof of your Birdfy Feeder and lift it up until it detaches.
2. Remove the perch by unscrewing the perch screw in a counter-clockwise direction. If you have the Hummee extension attached, unclip the buckles on both ends of the Hummee extension and pull it out.
3. Clean the feeder body in a bucket with a brush and soapy water.
4. Use a long-handled brush to scrub the inside of the bird seed bin. Make sure that the silicone covers on the charging ports are securely sealed to prevent water from getting into the camera.
5. Dry your Birdfy Feeder thoroughly before reassembling and using it.

Yep. I'm another one that can't get the bottom to slide-off. Judging from the comments below, this is an issue that needs to be addressed. Where are you Birdfy people???!! You're not answering us. Glad it was a gift and not something I purchased myself.

Like others said, we can't get the bottom bracket to release. I even broke the fingertip lever trying to get it off.

I broke the finger tip off and then it slid off. Not surge it will stay attached now.
