As others say, this video was done with the handle already disassembled!! It is clearly visible, like 3-4mm from the border!! So theory of what they say they sell with what they really sell, is different. All goes great till the moment with a screwdriver you are supposed to easily click and remove the handle. And I removed the two sides screw too thanks to comments below. In my case it did not make a big difference, but for sure helped.
I finally managed, leaving several marks on the machine of course, as it is plastic and any pressure will leave marks. It helped me to do the click more from the back side. Like in the video. And be careful that once one side click, doing the other side the previous one doesn't go back to original place.
How it is built, there is no really need of screw. For sure it is sturdy.
Patience, and you will manage to remove it. :-)

Wow. I've been trying to figure out how the darn handle came off and should have noted the carry handle was one of the other components listed on the box. Great video and actually a really simple and elegant design. Side note, this machine is awesome, takes out doggy accidents, coffee, dirt, grime from working on cars tracked up a staircase (who puts carpeted stairs in a garage?!?!), anything you can throw at it. The only thing you gotta do is stay on top of vacuuming. This is NOT meant to get up dog hair, that's what y'alls vacuums are for lol. Worth every penny.

I finally got it thanks to the comments below. The trigger mechanism was broken and once the new handle was in it worked like new

It's very difficult to get the handle off with a flathead screwdriver. The long Screw seems to be sufficient to hold the handle in place without having to use a flat head screwdriver.

I have a 1548 carpet cleaner & need to remove a wheel to be able to install the flat pump belt. Bissell says there are no instructions for the wheel. What???
