The NEW DayZ Frostline Explained ❄️

This is a new DayZ Expansion called Frostline. This new DLC includes a NEW map Sakhal which is set in Russia. New assets like buildings, boats and clothes. New animals such as rabbits, reindeer, fish and even caviar. New mechanics like fishing. The fishing has had a whole overhaul to make it more fun and interactive. The new DLC Frostline will come out with update 1.26 at the end of 2024 on xbox playstation and pc.

I wished the devs would allow building walls on slope terrains! Its hard to find a discrete location for base building when ground has to be flat to build anything

Personally I rather have a tropical map like Tanoa, new wildlife like exotic snakes or sharks or crocodiles or maybe a Komodo Dragon.

Tropical cyclones, a new poison and sickness system like getting poisoned by wildlife or getting Malaria.
The humid tropical nature that would require your player to maintain hydration and food plus small seaplanes, helicopters and boats.

But that is a dream, I doubt BI will make a tropical map with such features. A guy can dream.

The map is actually called tanoa they just renamed it and put snow on it so most people don't realise it's literally not new
