FROSTLINE IS HERE! This video will explain to you how to survive your first few minutes in the CHALLENGING terrains of Sakhal! I've really had a blast playing in the Early Access Playtest the last few weeks and I'm really excited for all of you to get your hands on this map.

Sheesh been running around on community servers dying from cold and lack of water/food for about 3/4 hrs now 😁 this new map is going to be rough but I like the challenge fasho 💪🏼🔥

Great tutorial Ish! Sakhal is beautiful and something I noticed right off the bat is that the devs have put a lot of work into the SOUNDS! That combined with the harsh survival mechanics and desolate scenery makes an amazing new DayZ experience IMO. Console servers will come back peeps release days are always difficult. Be patient and keep collecting those chelating tablets! Also cooking pots FTW! More clean water!

I watched some of Hollyrex's Sakhal play thru and she discovered that you can eat small amounts of snow if need be as long you take vitamins with it.

Final tip:Don’t trust anyone, this map has made it so supplies are scarce and the environment is a threat so players have become more opportunistic just to survive.

It seems harder. Its definitely a map geared more towards pvp players. Livonia was supposed to be that, but people camped in the woods with their crops. You cant grow crops on this map so it forces you to go find food or kill others. Then you have the threat of cold and everything makes you sick. Its definitely not a map for those looking to get the best gear and survive the longest as you'll constantly be dying and stsrting fresh, so get used to the idea of losing all you have and starting over. Thats the bread and butter of this map! To kill someone and find something you need to keep living a few more minutes until the inevitable death of cold or sickness. Base building? Not worth the time or effort on this map unless you have a group of 10+ willing to look after it. Every single group i join, someone always ends up backstabbing everyone, so i just run solo now.

I've been having alot of fun on a new community server on playstation that I've been playing on. Its got RP and PVE and PVP and Factions and a Trader with Discord currency.
