We bought a beagle. It was one month old and now it is four months. Never seen a dog with so much energy. It keeps us busy all day.

Small and clean, sure, but also insanely sweet, loyal, and awesome with kids. And so ridiculously calm they like to sleep belly-up. Beagles have adorable personalities. :)

I had several breeds of dogs in the past who already crossed the rainbow and now i'm in love with Beagles. Mine just 19 weeks old yet she's potty trained so well since 7-8 weeks, she's so smart and obidient with all my commands, altough i'm still working for the recall commands when there's so much distractions (typical puppies 😅), and she knows the rules whether its inside my house or when i walked her. She's the star for children, all children even some adults from my neighborhood loves her and always comes only to pet her 😅

We had a Beagle bred by Pat... pedigree nane Rossut Humbug, who we named Watson. He was a great beauty & a unique character. He passed away at nearly 13 years old after a full, loved & loving life & we mourn his loss still.

I have a Rossut beagle, he’s 5yrs old now, I’m always getting comments from people of how handsome he is.

I wasn’t a fan of beagles before I got a beagle puppy. Now I’m just a fool for beagles. Such a sweetheart of a breed. My beagle is a character.

Have a beagle called Lily, she was born on a puppy farm, where she was hurt. Her previous owners didn't know any of this, unfortunately they didn't have any experience of dogs of beagle type (being hounds or working dogs) and didn't have the time to really be with her.
I've had her since March this year and we are now looking to do search and rescue training together as she is so responsive to me and training we do together. She is coming on leaps and bonds, really starting to wear her beagle coat, as I phrase it, meaning the beagle traits are starting to show nicely. She's settled and seems happy.
Glad to be able to watch her flourish, guide her via training and be her mum.

I have a beagle 10 years old I love him allot!! He´s name is Spot I got it when I was only a teenager he was just a little puppy. Is my family he protect me but more important I protect him we are company now. But is true is a nobel dog and if you are patient you will get nice results on your dog train. Now my dog is more calm down and like to be with me most of the time, like to get rode on the car and always like to smell everything and find things haha!! If you get a beagle really is the best you can have, they steal your heart (and your bed, your food), love beagles!!!! :3

I love beagles. I have 4. Such great dogs. The only one weird around little kids is my first one. Not sure why. We had her from 8 weeks old and she was never around little kids often. Shes also shy around adults she don't know well. But she has the best sense of smell so once she warms up to you she never forgets your smell and always greets people who are friends no matter how long its been since she's seen them. They were little brats til they were 2 years old but calmed down after that. But I've noticed alot of dogs can be like that. Only real issue I've had is with potty training. They are a more difficult breed when it comes to that.

I have two beagles, both tri-color. I just love them. The only thing is that the one is 4 years old and still not housebroken. I know I should crate-train him but he would raise holy hell if I put him in one.

My dad brought a beagle puppy home from the pound when I was 6. Dad said all the other dogs were jumping around but Skipper sat quiet and he came home to us.

Hatchi mon beagle m'a quittée à 14ans 8mois. Hatchi était libre de sortir et revenir à la maison ; il était autonome, ne jappait pas et ne sautait pas sur les gens. Il était aimé de mon quartier . HATCHI LE VAGABON

Hello! I have a question about beagles, wonder if anyone could help me! I’m wondering how a beagle would normally (trained properly and all that) reach to visitors. Do they run up to the visitor to greet them? Is it normal that they jump and bark? If the visitor is afraid of dogs and refuses to pet and greet the beagle how would the dog react to that? Is it easy to call them back to not go up to the visitor or will they chase them? Maybe a little funny question but I got curious about these dogs and their temperament so I’m thankful for answers. (I’m not a dog owner and not planning on getting one, I’m not a person who’s scared of dogs either but I’m just curious just because I think these dogs seem very interesting and I want to learn more about them) thanks!

Thx for the video, I learn a lot :)

(Just on thing: I'm French, and I'm pretty sure that "beagle" doesn't mean anything in French )
