We sold our farm everything we owned in our later 50's, Left our 4 children, 7 grandchildren and moved to Costa Rica in march 2021. We came here with just 7 suitcases that is it ...Now we are on a beautiful mountain not 10 minutes from Samara. First seven months we lived in le ese over looking mount chirripo and san isidro. We are vlogging our journey just started june last year. Building new Rental casitas and a pool. This was a huge leap for us selling everything we owned. Only on this earth on time, we get no 2nd chances, Do what makes you happy!

I hopped on a third class bus and started traveling on my own when I was 18. Ended up teaching in Mexico for a while, then moved to Bali, then back to C. America, Belizean jungle, mountains, then 10 years on a tiny island in the Caribbean. Ended back in the US because of family but am ready to come check out CR. It's been on my radar forever. As always, appreciate hearing your stories, experiences, insights.

After my little brother died, I quit my job a year later and went to live life and do the things I wanted to do before it's my time to go. People don't really know how much time they really have and procrastinate so much. Chenzaloon I really feel you on this video. Respect for you living your life bro.

Same here but I was laid off at 65 years old - what a wakeup trying to find a job at 65. Wasn't happening, so to make ends meet, I moved to CR too and I never looked back.

Thanks for making that video. I'm at that point right now, pretty unhappy with my life.
I want to get the fuck out of here but I have to wait at least a few months because I got some things going on.
You're right about patience it's something that I realized especially in the last year.
We just have to work towards what we want and things will eventually fall into place.
Hopefully I can be surfing the waves of CR sooner than I expect it. Cheers man.

Man, that's a big move. Doing it that early in life is going to put your entire life on a radically different path. I had a taste of it and loved it! We had a great time during our 5 weeks. Lots of videos to post now! Best of luck with your channel!
