I like making quick "crockpot" style meals in the rice cooker. Take a bunch of leftover proteins, some favorite veg, seasonings, and whatever else you'd like and place it on top of the water and cover with broth or water. As long as the protein is already cooked all it needs is a heat-through which will definitely happen in a rice cooker lol. I miss my old non-fancy one with a steamer attachment, though; that's what inspires these meals.

I love this rice cooker. I have the same model, the IH/pressure one. I just got it a few days ago, so the only thing I've done so far is GABA brown rice, but I put a little butter and some soy sauce on it after it was done and it tasted amazing. I'm looking forward to using it more!

We have this same kind of Jozirushi ever since I'm in elementary, I'm grad school now 😂 They actually have the small version (3-4 cups of rice max) and it uses less power. Basically you can do anything relating to rice with it. I like making congee, and also they have a "quick cooking" setting that cooks for 30-40 minutes rather than an hour. Basically you pick a setting and they'll do everything for you. You can even choose a wrong setting and the rice still came out perfect 😂😂

That’s the same rice cooker I have! I recommend you use the quick setting because it cooks the rice perfectly in just 40mins

Maybe just avoid making bread in it all together this time 😭 you might get away with like a manapua or some other kind of steamed pastry but I wouldn’t push it too far beyond what it’s meant to do
