I’ve been playing for over 8 years - unfortunately self-taught. And I have never understood this concept until this video came out. Honestly Chris, thank you. I struggle with a learning disability, and having so many piano teachers fail me dissuaded me from fully falling in love with piano. I still relatively new to music, and this is probably the best example of teaching chord voicing. It seems to be something that a lot of teachers take for granted, where they just go all over the piano, and I'm just like "whoa, there!". I have a hard time imagining chords as anything other than triads within one octave. I never know when to spread it out, and where to place voicings
