I find it reprehensible that my Pixel 2 had this feature 3 years ago and even asked if I was okay one time when I missed a step and fell down on some soft earth with the phone slamming into the ground still in my hand. It asked If I was okay to which I answered, "I'm okay!"

Oh yeah! Back to the reprehensible part...bummed that my wife's Pixel 3a XL does not have car crash detection, which it should since it sold after the Pixel 3 series and is running the same version of Android! That's just petty and mean to withhold it from a newer 'a' series Pixel phone. It's as if 3a owners aren't worthy?...didn't pay enough by not buying a flagship phone...don't own cars? 3a owners paid more ($479) for their new phones than 4a owners ($349) and 4a's have car crash detection! C'mon Man!

Hey Google....Do you have to be using Google Maps for this feature to work? Just bought my son the Pixel 4a for this feature. We were using Life 360 but if this feature is free then that's even better!

pixel 5: 400€, 500€
