Currently at 37 hours fasting. Nothing but water, salt and black coffee. Aiming for 72 hours or more. It does get easier!

I do not want ketosis based on consumption of exogenous ketones. I want fat stored in liver to break down into ketones. The only way to do this is to adhere to a ketogenic diet, follow intermittent fasting and practice aerobic exercises that burn glucose for at least 30 min per day or 150 min per week. This is what I aspire to achieve.

Just wanted to thank you for all the information you provide. I was in ketosis for about 35 days and planned a 'cheat day'. BTW: cheat days are not as fun as you might think. After eating 10 chocolate chip cookies and popcorn, I felt horrible! I went to bed without dinner and slept 10 hours, but icky feeling lingered into the next day. Day 2, the day after cheat day; I took 3 MCT oil 8:10 gel pills 3x a day, and ate nothing but sardines. 3 cans total. And did a vigorous hike. Day 3: morning ketones at .6 Not great, but in ketosis. I'm going to stick to 3mct 3x today and see what tomorrow brings! Oh yes, and I fasted. 16:8 for 2 days. Soooo, doing the better and best from this video helped me get back into ketosis pretty fast.

I’m on my fourth day of water fasting and I started my period on the third day. I was so confused because I had no cramps at all. I also have not had an appetite this whole time on fasting but since I started my period that explains why I don’t have an appetite during typically. The absence of pain is crazy. I get the worst cramps ever.

Intermittent fasting would be the best way.
I have overcome the craving and I can do up to 18:6 fasting (18 hours drinks water or no caffeine tea; no energy drinks during the duration even sugar free)

Your information helped me on my first fast last summer. I went on a 40-day water fast where I consumed 2 liters of Fiji water per day, sometimes black coffee, and zero sugar Powerade for extra electrolytes. Lost 50lbs at an average of I believe it was 1.6lbs per day with it being 2lbs per day predictably, after stabilizing my blood glucose in the first 5 days from 299 to a steady 70-80 for the rest of the fast. I think I still have a youtube short of my transformation.

Lots more details that I will explain later.

This is my third day of fasting.
Bullet proof coffee with mct, heavy cream and butter .
During the day, lemon water with sea salt and électrolytes.

Fastest way to ketones is bike cycling 6 hour until all carbs are burnt. Per Randall Cycle your energy goes up when carbs are not blocking fat entering your cells. I’m regularly eat keto day before and no water and food on cycling day before start. So after no food and 6 hour cycling there is a full open flow of fat. And you feel very satiated. So much that it’s very easy to go on a regular fast.

I've been doing keto about 4 months. I've lost 18 lbs, began a 16:8 daily fast & recently did my first 24 hr fast. It takes discipline for sure BUT IT WORKS!! Good luck to everybody!

I eat 2 canned sardiens as breakfast and 5 eggs as dinner per day. + some cheese, greek yogurt and a few nuts as after dinner treats. Works for me!

Same thing happens to me. Check your blood pressure it's just getting low and your body's not used to it. When you fast it drains the water from your system. Finally the pressure is released. This is the way you're supposed to feel.

People forget to prepare for the fast first

You must eliminate first all sugar but do it slowly so you don’t go through those horrible withdrawal etc

I've been trying to get into Keto for the past 7 days.

I went cold turkey on soda, fast food, junk food, and fruit. Im exclusively drinking water.

I don't feel any different, so I decided to buy keto strips, and it turns out my body is showing Ketone. (:

It was definitely a reassuring thing. I figured i was doing something wrong.
