its funny how I stumbled across your channel because I wanted to "modernise" my 2011 iMac for school work. I'm still considering the GPU upgrade but your videos are so helpful. I really love your work especially how you explain EVERYTHING someone would need to know if they wanna follow your guide step-by-step even if they've never worked on a computer before. Keep up the good work buddy. I hope you have a great day. :)

Just got my first pc earlier today, same as this one obviously otherwise I'd watch a different video aha but this has opened my eyes to how easy it actually is, absolute noob with computers but that's well easy

You forgot PCI Express slot has a release it can easily be pushed to allow the graphics card to be removed rather than forcing it out

Thx, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to open the latch, I was afraid I would break it. Turns out, I just needed to pull real strong 😀

You may have upgraded physically but you still need to go into settings and make sure your screen is setup for the new Graphics card if you have any integrated graphics as well as install the newest drivers.

Is there anything I need to do after replacing it? I've seen some videos that say you need to uodate drivers or something.

Great vid. Quick question, did you have to replace your PSU in order to handle your new graphics card?
Have same PC as you and want to do the same.
Thanks man

Pardon my ignorance… GPU’s in SFF pc’s don’t require a connection to the PSU? They’re powered by the motherboard? You put the card in then said “all thats left is to put the side panel on”. And PCIe 16 will still work fine in a PCIe 8 slot? Please clarify…I’m new at this, so these facts are good to know, and wouldn’t be easily assumed. Thank you much!

place your case on the tesk . so you can see better . and press down . not sedeway .
make sure cables are not in the way . remove temporary the cables and place them back after insert the videocard .
make sure you have 2 slots space if you buy 2 slots videocard . some sff have only 1 slot free . so you need only 1 slot videocard .

Did you replace the power supply to handle the card?

Hey how do you help the PC to recognize your GPU? I have the exact same PC but once I put in my GTX 1650 LP I get a post but when I go to install the drivers it doesn't recognize it nor is it recognized in the device manager.
