I'm using a gtx 1080 since april of 2017. Upgrading would be nice but not that wanted since I play at 1080p 240hz. A couple months ago I went from an i5 9400f (that i had since december 2019) to an i9 9900k and saw a noticeable improvement in fluidity playing cod games at low settings.

I have an older Digital Storm system from about 6 years ago. It came with a 4 core overclocked intel cpu, 16gb of memory and dual gtx770ti running in SLI. I have since upgraded it to dual gtx980ti, an 8 core processor with a new motherboard, and 32gb of ddr4 memory(business database and compiler apps)with a 1tb m.2 Ssd for the os.The system has 21tb of hard drive storage and drives a 3400x1440(100hz) 34in curved monitor along with 2 additional 1920x1280 24” monitors. Most games and all of the business apps still mostly run ok but with some of the newer games the 6gb of video ram is not enough to run at the highest settings but on the 34in monitor they still look great on med. settings. Know a newer/faster single card would be better than the dual gtx980s but can’t seem to find any in stock and do not want to go the eBay route.

Okay i need help bcs i upgrade from a ryzen 3100x with a rtx1050 16gb ram and a b350 motherboard to ryzen 3700x 32gb ram b550 motor still with the rtx 1050 what gpu i should upgrade to without bottlenecks thanks 🙏

I already ordered my new card (rtx 3080) from my current 3060, my power supply is 500w, so I'm aware I need a new one, I'm running Ryzen 7 5700g, 32g ram, on one of the asus prime motherboards, is there anything else I need to upgrade/update for the new card to work? any advice is very appreciated

When showcasing numbers, instead of replacement graphics, use either smooth graphics or slide-in graphics, the numbers existing on screen should not be replaced with existing numbers and new numbers, but the new numbers added slowly in.

After many years I’m definitely closer than ever to buying the components to build my own PC for work instead of gaming. Thinking of the Cooler Master NR200P Mini ITX case. Definitely intrigued by Intel’s new 12th series chips and Nvidia’s rumoured 2060 super cards or Intel’s new graphics cards.

The first point is a good one. If my display cannot refresh more than 60hz. Getting a card than gives at least 60fps is good enough
