watch this and do the problems before he does them. this is a really good video for basic math review (chances are you just need to brush off the dust). If you're short on time, skip how he does the problem if you get it right and understand why. my math score just went from a 710 to an 800 (in like an hour) with this trust me its great.

The problem which gives you the vertex and asks you to find a + b + c can actually be simplified down a bit. Since the vertex is at a negative y and the equation has 2 real solutions, the graph is going to be curved up (or in other words, a is guaranteed to be positive), thus no value will exist beneath that y-coordinate (-14). In addition, a + b + c can just be seen as ax^2 + bx + c when x=1, because a(1)^2 + b(1) + c is just a + b + c (anything multiplied by 1 is 1). Because a + b + c lies on the curve of our function and no value can exist below -14 (or at -14, since that is the vertex value (x=9), we are looking for x=1), the only answer choice possible is D or -12.

1:25:40 you could recognize that 18y = 4x + 2 and hy = 4x - 5. Since both slopes are parallel, h = 18 in order to keep it parallel

The very last triangle problem can also be solved by using the distance formula to solve specifically only for the height and base of the triangle and after finding those two values which are √37 and √65 respectively, you can subsequently find the area of the triangle which is approximately 24.5.
