For anyone wondering how to close the lid, there is one little groove on the left of the filter itself. Line that up with the little ridge that is on the side of the filter housing

I am also having trouble getting the lid to fit on. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? Watched several videos.

Just bought mine is white and love it! I fill it, put in fridge and have great tasting filtered water all the time. It is a little heavy fully filled but I probably just need to work out. I drink half a pitcher everyday!

Hi...how many years we can use that plastic water tank...I'm not saying about water filter...

I have two of the Brita pitchers and like how they work, I bought them in 2008 and the white filter use to take my readings for 225 ppm down to 11 ppm, now they have three different filters, white, blue, dark blue. with my last order of filters I used the TDS meter and tap water was 218 ppm and running through the filter it went to 171 ppm. Now you have to spend more money to get it to filter as it should. I talked to Brita and the lady said that you can't go by what a TDS meter says, which is a lie, that is what the meter is for. Just remember that the white filter is really useless but better than none I guess.

Do you wash the lid as well I'm worried that the settings will break because of the water

The lead removal filters take longer to filter.

You should run the water to clear debris from faucet. Then turn it off so you're not splashing faucet water and contaminating the inside. Then put the pitcher under faucet, then turn the water back on to fill.

What did you do with the settings button on top of the lid? Were there long breaks in between to fill your pitcher??

I have the filter that is about six month filter

"When you first get it, you're going to want to wash it and clean it out". With what? The same tap water you will be using it to distill?

that you would actually demonstrate how to fill a glass or cup with the purified Waters that you have just made. We didn't see you drink any of it either. That makes me suspicious,
