Hello! I've been using a Brita pitcher for years. Love em! About putting in a new filter, I've seen video's of turning the new filter upside down and rinsing the bottom of the filter. I've also rinsing the side. Which is it, please? :D

So you have to throw away the whole plastic reservoir? It would not have been difficult to design it so that the media inside could simply be dumped and replaced.
