Funny how the EPA has rules about drinking water and doesn’t do anything about but the EPA runs around giving fines and shutting down car modification companies. Seems like it’s not about our health and only about money.

Keep in mind Clearly filtered water is 6 times the cost of Waterdrop, not to mention the replacement filters are three times the cost. At least here in Canada

Some of this doesn't line-up with testing done by other labs. ZeroWater had their filter tested by an EPA certified lab and it showed that the filter removed 99% of fluoride. Other people have tested it as well and found it removed fluoride. I find it rather ridiculous that this test showed Brita had a 100% reduction. Brita is a carbon filter and carbon filters do not remove fluoride.

How can the ClearlyFiltered pitcher reduce hardness by 99% but also keep in all the important minerals? From what I can see Magnesium and Calcium are the things that make water hard. Doesnt this just mean it removed all magnesium and calcium

I have been using Clearly Filtered for a few years now. Love it and won't change - glad you did this test and put my mind at ease. I have for a long time praised the clearly filtered system.

Hands down this is the best video on youtube I have found that independently rated major pitcher water filters. Great work, and thank you for publishing the spreadsheet of the data. Very professional.

Could you also do Propur and Maxblue? And perhaps Amazon's top choice?

I have seen websites claiming that propur and maxblue remove fluoride, so it would be interesting to see how these one perform.

Also perhaps re-do the Zero Water pitcher. A lot of commenters are surprised by the result you got that the Zero Water filter didn't filter out any fluoride. Maybe the filter wasn't primed properly according to the instructions or the testing lab had something wrongly calibrated.

I just realized that you're using a Regular filter for your Brita, not the Elite filter. I believe if you switch to the Elite filter, you'll experience significantly different results. The Elite filter is designed for these tough competitors and offers a closer match in terms of both price and performance. Just something for you to consider.

ZeroWater has been independently tested in EPA-certified labs for the reduction of fluoride with an overall reduction percentage of up to 99%. Many other reviewers have also tested ZeroWater's ability to remove fluoride. Not even removing a single percent of the fluoride means there was something definitely wrong with the lab testing for ZeroWater.

GOOD TO KNOW LIVED in Savage Mn for a number of years and my daughter lived in Bloomington. We bought the ZERO ONE because it was affordable for us. When we tested the water in Savage with a TDS meter the TDS was UP TO 400 PPM. That shortens life of filters. My daughters water in Bloomington was testing as 150 PPM. Many times I filled jugs with water from Bloomington and use that water in my filters to prolong use. It's amazing the things we have to do to consume clean water. :-( We now live in Florida. Water here seems to be testing MUCH cleaner than Minnesota.

Thanks for the video. I went with waterdrop because of the low cost of filters and the length of use. My daughter and I love out water now . Thanks

I've been using Brita pitcher for over seven years and I'm very happy with the results.

I use a Britta filter for my ice. If I fill the ice trays with filtered water I get ice cubes that are totally clear. Tap water it’s a hazy cloudy soft looking mess.

Wow all these years I've been using zero water thinking it was removing fluoride. I am glad I saw this before I brought new filters. Thanks for the review.

Tips: If you buy a new pitcher, don't throw away ur old pitcher. Replace the filter and continue filtering water with it. Then pour water into your new pitcher again to filter water twice. This will extend the life of new pitcher filter and ensure 99 percent of contaminants are removed before you drink.

Thank you for putting this video together and posting it. Reviews like this help to sort through all the slick marketing hype and empower people to intelligently take charge of their health. I've been looking around at different countertop water filtering options and this helped seal the deal for me to go with Clearly Filtered.

One result that is doubtful is the water hardness test. While clearly filtered does remove some hardness it does not get rid of it. For example I have 250 with my city water but it only reduce it to 200. Water hardness does not determine whether the water is good or not because calcium is not harmful but I wonder how it says it removed 99% of hardness.

Finally, someone who tested the water after it was filtered.

Thank you for the video
As you stated all waters from around the country will test differently. What I find interesting is that on your video and another video the WaterDrop filter showed zero filtering of Fluoride, like exactly zero on two different videos, the common point here is both used Tap Score Testing. When I looked at Tap Score to sample test City Water they charge $160 I was like no thank you, ridiculously over priced. I could not imagine you paying $800 out of your money to run this video survey. Plus I agree that the Clearly Filter is superior at what it does, it comes at a premium as far as cost, which I thought would have been nice for you to talk about in the video. Based on another water filter system review I had purchased a WaterDrop Countertop unit and have been very happy with the quality and design of the water system. I would recommend WaterDrop 100% and it does filter out Fluoride perhaps not 100%. Thank you
