Please believe me when I tell you that it is honestly a reflex in some of us who absolutely love animals! I'm not an idiot! I know my life and everyone else's lives are more important than an animal, but it's unfortunately a reflex in some of us.

I love how all those people that gave the guy in the second story a bunch of grief. I love my dog and am a animal lover in general but you have no idea what you would do in the same situation. Seems to me it was either both of them dieing together or him having to make that extreamly hard decision that saved his life.

You should swerve for animals however, if you’re the only one on a road and I bird comes in front of you it’s okay to slow down a little bit. Golder rule for swerving is: only swerve if it’s a moose, you have a better chance of living thru a crash than a moose

#1 is exactly why you never swerve to avoid small animals. THEY aren't worth your life. Deer can kill you if yiou hit them, so avoid large animals that do damage and go through those that don't unless you can safely stop or avoid them. However, on a fast road, that is almost never the case

Although all are very incredible stories the story about Ada breaks my heart the most, so incredible they wrote all these books and she got nothing out of it 😲and lived in poverty just shows you how humanity works at times it can be quite discussing
