Every time I think of those musicians I start crying my eyes out, they were true heroes and gentlemen to the end. As a musician myself I can’t think of anything more beautiful and sad than using your music to calm those terrified people and staying there until the end.
They must have been so scared themselves but they died doing what they loved, almost escorting the souls that would be lost into the abyss with their music.
So poetic, sad, courageous and wonderful all at the same time.

My family is full of marines, navy captains, and airborne rangers. But honestly we all agree that those musicians are honorable men. May God bless them and their remaining family

The scariest part to me is the shoes. Hundreds of bodies were never recovered because either they rotten away or where eaten by fish. However, their leather shoes remained, as they were more durable. So, whenever you see pictures of shoes at the bottom of the ocean, thats where the bodies were. It's even more disturbing when most of the shoes found are in pairs and positions as a person laying down would be. Those are the markers for the bodies.

All artifacts from the ship should be in a museum nothing should have ever been sold

Btw for those wondering, the Titanic can't and will never be taken up from the bottom of the ocean, it is too fragile and would crumble completely under any change of pressure, plus it is the grave of so many people and moving it would be an extremely act of disrespect to those who passed, rip to all those who passed, they went down as a major part of history

One of my favorite family trips was when we took our son to Pigeon Forge, to the Titanic museum. He was and still is fascinated by the Titanic (he was only 5 at the time). The pocket watch had stopped at 2:34, which is when it's believed the Titanic made her final plunge. It's a must see!

My great uncle survived. He gave testimony to the senate about the treatment of 3rd class passengers. He later joined WW1 and died young as a brave American. His testimony was used for the movie.

They actually had binoculars but they were locked away without the key. There’s a little story about that.

Fun fact. The musicians families were all sent bills for the suits that they rented because they weren’t returned

Fun fact: One of Titanic's funnels was fake just for aesthetics

Just leave everything just as it is. It is a massive grave now.

There is no preserving anything at the site, it's all decomposing and will disappear so if they can save relics, I hope they do.

It's mind blowing to think that the ship is still there in the middle of that deep, cold and dark sea with large waves blowing over it as if the incident never happened. Literal goosebumps.

I had a family die on the Titanic. They where a stoker . My Grand parents got married on the day Titanic sunk, I always got married that day too but my marriage lasted 13 yrs. My son always been obsessed with the ship since he was about 3yrs . He’s partner birthday is on the 15 April. So the Titanic is a big part of my family one way of another. 💖🐩🐩💖🐾🐾🌹🕊🌈🇬🇧

*A piece of Titanic story I'm always proud of; My Auntie Tess in the Philippines used to run a Framing shop for 32 years and her late husband do the framing of photographs and paintings, they once had a client an old man asked them to frame some big old photographs of him when he was younger, standing next to a huge ship I don't remember what's the connection of the man with the ship but turned out it was the RMS Titanic behind the man.*

*Back in that time Captain always sunk with the ship as they are true to their Oath and Musicians play music till the end till they die (even in war) and to all we lost in the sea, we salute you. May you all rest in peace.*

I think instead of terrifying it should be called, "eerie"
