Honestly the fact that u can get lost in this place in pitch black darkness & starve to death in there is far more terrifying than anything else u could possibly find or meet in the Catacombs

I heard of a spirit called "the white spirit" I believe is it's name. Apparently this is a spirit of someone who got lost and died there and because their soul was not in peace they started to scare the people in the Catacombs to get them lost and killed. And people also say that this spirit sometimes try to help the people that got lost there.

I met a Frenchman named Marius (idk how to spell it sorry) who told me of a cult who roams the catacombs. They act like lost explorers when people find them or just flat out run away and he says they have a very weird accent apparently, almost as if they live down there and are developing a sort of dialect.

Idrk if I believe him but he was a very funny dude, also very easy to talk to he always had something to say about anything.

In Peru we also have catacombs
I was always curious about it, we went for a school field trip in the site, first thing I see was a deep well, and it’s walls where decorations of skulls and bones. I didn’t feel uncomfortable what make me uncomfortable was the wars and conflicts that were the cause of why the bones where there in the first place

This give me the willies. Also, on my life, I was watching a program about the catacombs with my brother in our house in New York in the summer at night. All the windows in the house were open and all the sudden there was an errant wind that felt like it was upwards of 40+mph that came through the house. On an otherwise not windy calm night. Can never forget it
