As far as the "they're watching us" bet the aliens were probably like "awww earth finally made it!" Like watching a baby take its first steps lol

"Either we are alone in the universe, or we are not. Both are equally terrifying concepts."

The Russian astronaut screaming and crying as he is being cooked alive in his Space Capsule. Before speaking his last words "you've killed me". God bless his soul with peace forever. Amen.

The scariest thing was "they're watching us." The saddest was "you've killed me."

Astronaut, "Huston, we're hearing some strange music on the dark side of the moon."
Huston, "That's okay. It's Pink Floyd."

The phrase "you are not alone" can either be, very motivational, or very terrifying.

I think the scariest thing about this is that anyone would ever want to go into space alone. I've always been terrible with directions. If I went to space I'm positive I'd be lost forever. No way I'd find my way back without maps and pretty sure my phone won't work up there.

The astronaut that told his crew members, “I just had the chili for dinner” is also pretty scary in that tiny capsule.

Alien 1 : should we go inside?
Alien 2: we should knock first.

The aliens watched us get to the moon probably thinking about how our dumb civilization finally made it to another celestial body. Now they have a fricking THEME SONG every time we go into space.

The Russian astronaut who'd cried out, knowingly, "You've killed me." broke my heart. ❤

The "they're watching us" part could be found on Youtube some 15 years ago, I've seen it myself. But just like many other UFO related content, it was erased and never uploaded again. Apollo 11's crew were completely terrified at what they were seeing, but they sounded like they had been previously briefed about the possibility of seeing something out of the ordinary.

Im not an astronaut, but once while I was stargazing, me and my dad both saw a "star" slowly moving..and not even satellite speed, just normal slow inching. It first was moving north to south like a soviet satellite then went east, stopped, and went west then continued to go south. Then it all of a sudden stopped. My dad then said it looked like something broke off of it. If im being honest I was terrified...

“You’ve killed me” is terrifying to know that. To know that his own Country forced him to fly knowing that it was not ready for space and he was going to die? That is murder. Growing up watching Star Trek and admiring Gene Roddenberry’s mind, made people seriously think that maybe we truly are not alone in the galaxy/universe, etc. It’s ok if they want to watch us… they can watch from up there…way way up there! Does it mean that I would like to meet one…nope…not at all!!! I think it would be unrealistic to think that we (all living and growing things) on this planet would believe that we are ALONE because what would be the purpose? Or does it need to have a purpose?
