*I'm favoured only God knows how much I praise Him, * $230k every 4weeks! I now have a big mansion and can now afford anything and also support God’s work and the church.

*The wisest thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that don't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in gold, silver, and digital currencies (BTC, ETH...)*

If it wasnt for us truck drivers, nothing would leave the docks. We dont make as much as they do. We are away from home for weeks at a time, little pay, top 10 most dangerous jobs and no respect, but we keep working to serve our country.

I’m a truck driver of 26 years and I’ve been saying for more than half my career as a truck driver that it would be nice if all truckers would come together on one thing and stick together and go strike it out for better pay, better benefits, the way we are treated at shippers and receivers, government regulations, DOT to shut down all weigh stations effective immediately and for all truck stops to get with the program of better food and to step away from fast food as a whole. Nothing will ever get done if we don’t stick together for just one event and we should be protesting alongside the dock workers in the Port Strike 1000%

As a former port driver in Newark, NJ I feel ZERO sympathy to those "workers". Extremely lazy(playing with a phone, while 30 truck are waiting in line), tons of attitude("Im the king, you -nobody! Kneel!!!), total lack of professionalism everywhere at least. It was the worst job I had ever had. I totally support automation overthere and they are paid very well - I've heard like ~$50/hr+benefits back in 2014.

Im a trucker at the port of Virginia the ILA is some of the laziest workers i have ever seen these guys have jobs like walking the tires with a hammer land checking the lights on a chassis and move a so slow you wouldn't belive it. Another job is just looking at the container to make sure it's empty again as slow as possible.

Our ports are the least efficent ports in the world . I want someone to question the union president on why they feel they deserve a 77 percent pay raise when all the ports in America rank as the worst in the world for efficiency .

I feel like they can only fight progress temporarily.. it's like if bankers demand that we get rid of all ATMs and replace them with tellers again

We all should support anything that that is against automation! Humans first.

The government wants automation, automation will be inevitable. for myself, I’m just gonna keep on trucking until there’s nothing left to go trucking for. hope everyone has a good day.

According to Google, average port worker makes $39/hr. On a 40 hour week with no overtime, that is $81, 000 annually before taxes. Most truckers I know don't make that much. It's more than double what I made as a heavy equipment operator. And they're holding the country, and my family, hostage for MORE?!?!

The automation part I understand, but to ask for more money is insane. Dock workers already make more than the average American ($60, 000 annually), and now they're holding the average American hostage for more.

Last time the port unions went on strike, it got violent. It likely will again. I've already seen a news article that the strike in Baltimore got violent.

This is why America should be manufacturing more and Farming more of these things instead of relying on other Countries.

As a owner-operator I want them to have a strike because maybe that will have the rates increase For the truckers and give the owner Operators the opportunity to run at a profitable rate

Can you imagine if the truckers went on a real strike again at the same time as Longshoreman? Oooo baby!

100% agree that drivers need to do the same coast to coast. but most think not driving for 24hours and clogging up the dc beltway is in the short term rates will come up, but like with covid many will start companies to try and cash in and we know what happened with we will end up right back here in 6 months after the strike ends. we will continue to ride this never ending merry-go-round. good luckto all the small companies and I HOPE YOU MAKE TO THE

I know a few people that would be making $500k with that raise and guess what…. They don’t do anything, they sit around not doing anything and sleeping during their OT. I don’t support them at all, they don’t care about anyone else but themselves. Owner Operator should be making more than them. DRIVERS are the ones who moves America!

This will be like Thanos snapping his fingers for truckers: it'll cause a lot of pain, but when it's over it'll mean things will less crowded and it'll be easier for those who survive

Automation is the way to go! ILWU lost 2 terminals in LA and LB to automation. The 4 automated terminals out here are the ones that move the most freight. Its automation is a good thing for carriers. We don’t have to rely on the cranes having to take hour and a half lunches or 2 hour shift changes. It’s consistency.
