Windows 10 Change File Explorer Default View

Here's a quick tip on how to change what Windows 10 File Explorer display when it's launched. Windows 10 comes with it display frequent folders and recent files.

Gonna be honest, I've been trying to look up a tutorial like this last week. I couldn't find it and gave up. Now i'm looking for a tutorial for keeping the view to a list view and this shows up. Not the one I was looking for at the moment but it did answer the problem that I had last week.

I like “List View.” No reason, just works for me. I notice that when I followed you recommendations if changed all the top files list view, but not the files within the files- is there a setting I can chose that makes the directive cascade through all the files….?

i changed the theme and the icons on the explorer view change, i deleted the theme but the icons in explorer never restored to default. How can i restore to defult

the problem is with me i don't see the file side like quick access its like gone is there a fix for that?

Is it possible to pin the most useful commands (buttons) like "Cut", "Copy", "Paste" and any other button from Ribbon to the very top bar? So it would be convenient to always have direct access to them even if Ribbon is closed. In Windows 8 you can pin any button from Ribbon to the top bar.
