Change Windows 11 File Explorer Layout to Windows 10

This video shows you how to change Windows 11 File Explorer layout to Windows 10 using Registry Editor.

On the search bar, type "regedit" and open the Registry Editor.
Inside the Registry Editor, navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions

Create a new key inside Shell Extensions called "Blocked" (as shown at 1:28).
Inside the Blocked key, create a new String and name the string value (shown at 1:56):
{e2bf9676-5f8f-435c-97eb-11607a5bedf7}

i tried this about 6 times and it never works any ideas? nothing changes my file explorer ribbon stays the same

It used to work, until Windows 11, version 22H2 update in October 2022. Now adding that string in the Block folder does not work any more. Ideas?

the "Shell Extension" folder has been removed after the 22H2 release, as its not there on my computer.

loved this, but unfortunately after the latest update, the string doesn't work anymore... it was still there, .. tried to reinstall it, but... nothing :(

When I open file explorer, I don't see my drives. It just takes me to a folder. Any way to get the drives back into view when you open file explorer?

You *can* also just open control panel and change the directory.

I actually read "Tom's Hdwe." before finding your YouTube video. I have done everything EXACTLY like it said on Tom's and twice on your video ... but, I do not get the ribbon ... just the Windows 11 File Explorer opening like it did before. Do I need to delete that "default" line in the registry for my PC to start reading the string within "Blocked"? Hhhmmm .... Help? Anyone?
