I remember how shocking it was to hear from a Sunday keeper how SDA's had "come a long way" since we had accepted the Trinity. I had recently acquired a word study on the word 'spirit', , by Margaret Tierney. I decided it was time to study this topic out for myself. By the time I was about half way through the OT texts I blurted out to my husband, "The holy Spirit is not a separate person from the Father and the Son!" It was shocking. It was a hard lesson, but I am so grateful that God has taken the blinders from my eyes!

I was approached by 2 men who I do not say are, but could seriously consider to be, angels. These men, in short, asked me if I truly believed Jesus was the Son of God, to which I replied, a billion percent.. without even the slightest shred of doubt. They offered me a book, but I took all 6 different copies relating to the truth of who Jesus was. I went home and before I read, I prayed and ask my Father who had done so great a miracle to bring light and salvation to my life, to protect me from evil and to reveal if there was any truth in the material given me. That same night I read through all the books and by the end I was on my knees with a heart swollen in gratitude for the clarity of God's sonship and the weight of grace and love that opened up to my mind. I wholeheartedly reject the former belief and teachings of the trinity that I once held and now stand in the light of scripture along with all those who believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God!
Thank you, Father, for sending messengers to me and all the many ways you actively seek to help secure me into the future world of glory.

I was born into the SDA church and as a child I remember these topics being discussed.
Throughout the days of my youth I wandered, as most do testing things, but last year I decided to return to the SDA church and get re-baptized (which I did & re-established my membership) but upon study and observation my heart has been saddened by the amount of catholicism that has been incorporated in. Any questions I present concerning the matter gets white washed! So once again I have left the church as I prayerfully discern the matter.

Three Ellen White quotes on the identity of the Holy Spirit: "Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally; therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them, go to His father, and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent." (Ellen G. White, 14MR 23.3, 1895). "We want the Holy Spirit, which is Jesus Christ." (E. White, Letter 66, April 10, 1894, par.17-18). “The Holy Spirit is the SPIRIT of CHRIST; it is HIS REPRESENTATIVE. Here is the divine agency that carries conviction to hearts. When the power of His Spirit is revealed through the servants of God, we behold divinity flashing through humanity.” — (E.G. White, 13MR 313.3, 1895)

Thank you for this series! Learning about this has opened my understanding of GOD and His Son! This leads me to a stronger desire to serve Him, and to be grateful for Jesus’ sacrifice for me. I believe what is presented in this video and praise God for leading me to watch similar videos that speak along these lines. I am 3rd generation Adventist and believe the error was fed into the organization and sadly some of the most prominent SDA preachers are following right along in teaching the trinity. Sad to see Bro Veith to be so vehement against the Bible teaching that Jesus is begotten.
