He’s telling the truth

And honestly it all starts with two things
1 keeping your home 🏡 clean and organized
2 keeping your body and health in check

If you maintain those two things in high value everything else comes easy I should know

Just wanted to add this quote from Marcus Aurelius and the philosophy of stoicism, “You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.”

This cycle of "self-sabotage" can often stem from trauma in your past. It stems from a deep subconscious feeling of "I'm not worthy" or "I am not enough." I like your segment on combating the self-sabotaging thoughts head on, but I feel like you say to repress these thoughts rather than combat them. Understand why your self-destructing habits come up and PROCESS them not REPRESS them. Repression does not get rid of these thoughts, it just pushes them into a subconscious part of your mind. They will keep manifesting in different ways (such as relationships or feeling like you don't deserve the new job you have) until you combat them.

Forgive those who told you "you are not enough" through their actions or words. Only then can you let go. Understand that you are worthy of a good life. You are enough. You are worthy of love. If you love yourself, then these maladaptive thoughts become obvious. They come up and you see them for what they are, lies from people who wronged you. Lies from people who were wronged themselves. Whether it's a narcissistic parent, abusive ex, etc. I could go on and on about how these feelings of worthlessness stem up, but if this next part resonates with you, please dig deeper.

When life is comfortable, I am uncomfortable. When I am succeeding, my mind yearns for failure often disguised as a reward.

This might be hard for a male audience to hear but finding a good therapist who can make these subconscious actions conscious will tremendously help your journey towards lasting success. Hell, watching this video is low-key a therapy session. I see people in the comments saying "oh my god I didn't realize these maladaptive behaviors I do until this video" but I wouldn't be surprised if those same people have a negative view of therapy. Please go to therapy. That's literally what therapy is. It's essentially this video, but catered exactly to you.

Do your community a favor. Do your wife/future wife a favor. Do your friends and family a favor. If you want to be a true man, strive towards self-actualization and control. Contrary to societal beliefs, going to therapy as a man is probably the manliest thing you can do. It's allowing yourself to be vulnerable, it's desiring to be a better person. It allows you to be a strong leader with a soft heart. The epitome of a true man.

Looking back, I wrote a full on essay, but I feel people out there really need to hear this.

I thought I was fucking crazy experiencing these “ups and downs” cycles. For me it’s female atttention.

When I get less attention from women, my confidence starts to go down, my social skills suffer, I notice I tend to jerk off more, I start to care less about working out, won’t care as much about my hygiene, I’m on autopilot with shitty posture at work… it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy in that way.

But when I get attention either from attractive women or specifically the woman I like, I feel unstoppable. Flirting is on point, confidence is beaming, I actually speak from my chest, I can hold eye contact easier, hygiene becomes a routine that I don’t even have to think about, Posture is an exact reflection of how I feel, and I find I beat my meat less.

I just found myself constantly chasing that high. The upper part of the cycle where everything is at its highest point without even realizing that of course there would be a low afterwards if everything has an equal and opposite reaction.

So if I just focus on one the best I can, like let’s say working out or hygiene, then I’ll no longer be tying my confidence or self-worth or whatever you want to call it to outside sources since I control how confident I am and ideally won’t have these “lows” anymore.

AND in that way, I also control how much attention I get based off of my confidence level and vibe that I’m giving off. That’s kinda wild.

Staying consistent is not about not falling down, it’s about when you fall you choose the way you get back up. Staying consistent is where you get back up and make the best out of the situation.

I cannot believe how wise you are at such a young age. I'm male, 60, and what you've described is 100% relatable to my current situation. You are 100% on the money and I've got to save myself. I am in awe at your wisdom I am literally speechless. I am also incredibly grateful to the Universe/guidance for connecting us so that I am a subscriber to your channel, listening to your sage advice. I am literally broke, but from broken-ness, I can grow, succeed and conquer my issues (your other videos I'm sure will help me enormously). Thank you and God bless you! :)

There's a million people blabbing about life advice, and while they may (or may not) mean well.. I knew as soon as I heard you start talking, that there was a realistic sincerity within you. God/Jesus Bless You.
