From a lifter; unnecessary amount of protein.
If you like that much and it helps you; go for it.
If it makes your diet unsustainable and miserable, you won't lose much if you eat WAY less.

So I always get confused. 30mg of protein. Does that mean if a meat protein that is 5 oz says it contains 20g of protein ( made up numbers) then if you wanted to get to 100g a day of protein you could eat 5 servings of that 5oz meat? To total the 100g of protein needed?

I have been doing this, but people keep telling me that I’m overdoing the protein and that’s why I’m struggling with going to the bathroom and high protein levels in my blood. What am I doing wrong?

140 grams of protein PER DAY?? i can barely hit 50! am i supposed to be choking down two chicken breasts before bed?

If you're overweight or obese simply choose your protein intake based on your goal weight instead of your current weight.

Also 1.6g/kg for the for the rest of the world.

When you say aim your protein at your target weight. Is it ok if you go over your target weight with protein intake?
