I just started the RP Diet app yesterday! It’s an experiment to see if I can actually reduce my weight via proper portion control and I have been watching tons of RP videos to mentally prepare for a fat loss phase and what it entails when not resorting to fasting and diet extremes. ❤. I’m determined and the app makes it easy to see when you are eating too much 😅 which was my problem.

This short is nearly comprehensive. Reminding us of calories or gram of protein & fat would eliminate need to look those up else where for those of us not knowing off-hand. Thx for the great info!

Your content is awesome!!!! I do find it confusing when mixing metric with imperial. One gram of protein per pound? Confusing. Would be good if you also shared both metric and imperial for internationals. :)

2g protein per kg is MAX. 1, 81 seems to max out muscle building. Carbs 50-60% of calories and fat 20% for cut. For bulk you can go 25% fat and rest carbs plus same protein.

How would these amounts change for workout days and rest days? I assume protein would stay the same?

So @ 175lbs for example:

P 175g (700 cal)
F 87.5g (788 cal)
C 350g (1400 cal)

Total Calories 2888

I had a hell of a time calculating how many grams of each macro! 🎉

Based on this my macro split is 150g protein 45g fat and 121g carbs 1489 calories total for a cut

Is there a maximum carb intake on a bulk above which it didn't matter whether you get extra calories from carbs or fats?

I’m 101lbs and 15 years old and I’m too hungry at even 130 grams of protein. In order to not be so hungry I need to eat like 175+ grams of protein a day

So is the truck just knowing how many calories you’re supposed to have per day? If so, how do you calculate that. I may burn more or less than someone else my age and weight.

How do people not intake fat? It’s literally in every meat and product that I eat. Unless you only eat turkey or chicken without the skin.

The first 2 calculations were based on nutrient per pound of bodyweight, what does he mean when he said whatever calories leftover from the calculations divided by 4

Whats the math equation for someone struggling like me so 180lb is 180g of protein and does fat = half of that (0.5) then how do you divide remaining calories by 4 for carbs
