Oh man, Friday, I really wanted an egg salad sandwich and I was just obsessing about it and I was like, 'Man, I'm gonna make one of those.' So Saturday, I went out and got, like, a dozen eggs and then I boiled them all and I just, I spent, I dunno, probably three hours, like three and a half hours making, you know, the mayonnaise, and the onions and paprika and, you know, the necessary accoutrement. And then, by the time I was done, I didn't really feel like like eating it.

A tip for those who use dill-> use a ceramic knife or your fingers to cut/tear it. When dill is exposed to the metal it browns

I hate celery in egg salad, so I really like to make my egg salad with sweet pickle relish. It adds that same crunch factor but the sweetness really helps balance the creamy richness of the mayo and egg yolk. I'm not too sure how it would pair with the horseradish, but I'm not a big fan of horsey anyway

Also, I'd like to say that a lot of you who have commented on this video are rude. It's an egg salad recipe how-to video from someone who really loves what he does. No need to be mean and nasty just because you don't think you'll like it. Have some respect!

I run my eggs through an egg slicer twice. Slice once, rotate egg in slicer, slice again. Perfect even chunks.

you don't need an ice bath.

just in a bowl with running water that fills up the bowl and let the water keep running in the bowl. takes like 30 seconds to cool them down.

Texture the celery gives I luv! Never tried horseradish but I like it so why not? Not a fan of dill..white bread and now I’m hungry and I’m off to par boil some eggs...😬
