Make No Knead bread with me today. The easiest loaf you will ever make!
We make a round loaf and a loaf in a tin pan. If you want a bigger round loaf just double the recipe.
RECIPE
1.5 cups of hot water
1.5 tsp yeast
2 Tbs sugar
Let the yeast bloom. Follow the instructions from the video regarding the right temp for the yeast. Once you know the yeast is alive add
2 Tbs milk powder
3 cups of flour
1/2 tsp salt
Mix with a wooden spoon until just combined. The dough will be shaggy and wet and that's ok.
Cover and leave to double in size for roughly an hour.
Flour the bench and your hands and turn the dough out onto the bench. Using your hands keep folding the dough over into the center to form a nice round shape. The top of the loaf will form a nice tight top once turned over. If you are making the round loaf place that in a bowl on a sheet of parchment paper. Preheat the oven and the cast iron pan if you are using one. 180c Fan bake. Set the loaf aside to raise for the second time, roughly 30 minutes.
Once the dough has risen, transfer very carefully into the hot cast iron pan. Bake covered for 20 mins. Take the top off and finish baking until golden brown.
I will work on a printable recipe for you over the weekend and update it in this description box where you can find it.
If you would like to send me mail, here is my PO Box. Please address it too.
