How to PAIR your NEW PS4 Controller to your Playstation (2 Methods)

Do you want to know how to PAIR, CONNECT and SYNC your NEW PS4 (DUALSHOCK 4) Controller to your PS4? In this video, I will show you 2 easy method on pairing your PS4 controller FAST!

You can pair your PS4 controller 2 different ways. The first way to connect your PS4 controller to your PS4 is through the bluetooth connection on the ps4. Hold down the share button and the playstation button for a few seconds. The light bar will then began to blink light blue. Your PS4 controller is now in pairing mode. The second way to sync your PS4 controller to your ps4 is through a USB to MICRO USB cable. Plug the usb end into the PS4 and the MICRO USB end into the PS4 Controller! If the BLUETOOTH connection doesn’t work, and the USB cord method isn’t working. TRY switching out for another cord, may just be the cord you’re using. I tried all options on 2 different videos and none of them worked, so I tried a different cord and now it works!

I fixed it with his method, hopefully it helps other people!
For anyone wondering. I had an extra controller. This can be done with a keyboard, but unfortunately you need another device to use so you can navigate to the “Bluetooth devices” page for this to work. I already had about 10 dual shocks controllers listed on my Bluetooth devices list, so I forgot all of them and left the one controller I was using. After that, connect your controller with a charger, reset it with a pin for about 15 seconds. You can tell that it is resetting because if you see the yellow charging light on your controller, it will turn off while you are resetting, and turn back on when you’re done. Then, hold the share button first then the ps button to get the flickering lights. This should bring your controller on the list of Bluetooth devices. For some reason while my screen was on the ‘Bluetooth devices’ page, it made empty rows for more places where the “DUALSHOCK 4” would go. I’m not sure why, but It didn’t connect my controller when that happens. To fix this, just press on one of the empty rows, and they’ll all disappear but slowly re appear. Use this time to quickly connect your controller then with the steps above. If so, then you’ll see your controller pop up on the list like in the video. Hopefully this works for some people, and good luck!
