At the first time i got the 6-letter passcode since im doing it manually cuz they dont wanna pair with the pic code but i had to go when i came back it was gone so i did it again and they didnt not wanna pair i didnt get the 6 letter passcode for the rest of the times

I have an apple watch series 1 that was paired with a Iphone 6s. I had to reset my Iwatch because I locked up/disabled) the Iphone 6s because I couldn't remember my code to unlock phone so I switched sim card to my Iphone 5s. I've updated to latest IOS (12.4.8) on the 5s but can't get the Series 1 Iwatch to pair with Iphone 5s. Watch keeps saying I need u to update IOS. My 5s works fine and can make and receive calls with full access. Can you help???
