👉 Is Shadow boxing a good HIIT workout?
- Shadow Boxing is the most effective sport because it involves a lot of high intensity interval training (HIIT) that engages multiple muscle groups, works out the whole body, and can be done in a much shorter time period.

👉 Do boxers do HIIT training?
- High intensity interval training (also known as HIIT) is perfect for boxers, MMA fighters, and other fight sports athletes. Interval training can help fighters increase power and improve endurance.

👉 How do HIIT workouts work?
HIIT workouts generally combine short bursts of intense exercise with periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise. These workouts often mix aerobic and resistance training at fitness studios and online. To be clear, most of the interval workouts researchers have studied focus solely on aerobic exercise.

👉 Does HIIT improve stamina?
Conclusion. HIIT-based running plans (2 to 3 HIIT sessions per week, combining HIIT and CR runs) show athletic performance improvements in endurance runners by improving maximal oxygen uptake and running economy along with muscular and metabolic adaptations.

This has become one of my most replayed YouTube video in recent months. Simple, straightforward and effective. I’ve gone through the workout near a hundred times now.

Such a great workout - thank you! I have arthritis in my hands so I can’t punch a boxing bag. This didn’t hurt my joints at all and left feeling destroyed in a good way!

I've watched a lot of exercise videos over the years, but this is by far the best in terms of diversity, energy and most of all commentary. Fantastic work

training I have a special request : Shadow boxing, You call the moves and the shots like you're the coach during a fight with 10 round of 3min. That would be a killing work out.

Gotta love this for cardio and burning those calories without equipment! Also, makes you respect the pro boxers who can do this for so many rounds and still have juice at the end to throw those punches. Thanks for the video. Good luck to everyone using this to improve their cardio/boxing and for weight loss!!

Been boxing a while and when watching this I first thought negative like : I dont like the jab, yes straight line(very nice by the way) but didnt like the non initiation of the hip(even just a slight) behind it, the jab i mean as it was there every other shot but im only nit picking the jab, but then stopped myself with a "reality thought" as I want to call it, not real but actual reality, that those shots do land and furthermore have great impact. So I went from over criticising a detail, in my head, that doesn't actually reflect if the fighter does it in a match or not, and whether it would bypass my guard which I know it would because the straightness of it doesn't have any tell so it's redundant to criticise on such a tiny detail as the inclusion of a slight adjustment of technique, and started appreciating the great advice and, truth be told, demonstration of a work out that I will be sharing with friends from my club(the one I currently go to) and also work on myself, because the sequences, although fundamental, are ones I sometimes forget to do again but also the perfect straight lines as shown here are missing from my shots again. Why am I mentioning all this? We can all too often watch videos on you tube and disregard the content because of our ego and sometimes natural want to find flaws in others but the benifit of any lesson is got by searching for the lesson and not by noticing any "perceived" "flaws", there are no flaws here only my insecurity during the first watch, but when it was mentioned in the end that he is a fitness trainer I realized the desclosure wasn't necessary as the only thing making anyone critique this are unnecessary egos which i had first viewing, second viewing rid me of that
