Tensions Diffuse, Tensions Spike In Divided Mitrovica, Kosovo

Josh Friedman reports from a protest in North Mitrovica, Kosovo, where Serbs have gathered to demonstrate against Pristina not implementing the EU-brokered agreement on creating an Association of Serb Municipalities within Kosovo.

The protest comes amid a spike in tensions between Serbia and Kosovo, and KFOR (NATO) troops are out in force to keep the peace. Yet why does it simultaneously seem that tensions are diffusing in Mitrovica and the Serb and Albanian communities are getting along more?
