Step up your Side Dish game with this delicious Bacon Balsamic Brussel Sprouts recipe. This dish has the perfect balance of flavor, and will be beautiful arm candy for whatever main dish you decide to prepare. Now, let's #MakeItHappen

Ingredients: (Grocery List)
1 lb bag of Brussel Sprouts (rinsed/cleaned)
4-6 slices of your favorite bacon
2-3 tbsp Balsamic Glaze (you can make your own reduction, or purchase the glaze from the store)
Salt, Pepper, Garlic, Onion Powder, Sazon - to taste
Butter or Avocado oil as needed

Directions:
Clean and dry your brussel sprouts. Slice the end piece off and then cut them down the middle as seen in the video. Reserve any leftover shavings to add towards the end. (Forgot to mention that in the video)

Heat your skillet and begin cooking your bacon until it is about 2/3 of the way done. Remove from the skillet and turn your heat down to medium low. Place your brussel sprouts face down into the leftover bacon grease. Increase heat to about medium and cook for 3-5 minutes or until they develop a nice golden brown crust. At this point, begin to season and flip. Chop your bacon into bite sized pieces and add back into your skillet, along with leftover shavings. Taste for seasoning and adjust as needed. If your bacon does not render enough fat to adequately lubricate the veggies, add a bit of butter or olive/avocado oil to keep them coated nicely. (Should be slightly "shiny" but not overly oily). Once the flavor is adjusted to your preference, drizzle in some of the balsamic glaze. (This is fairly sweet) As always, taste as you go! Once they are tender, but not mushy, they're ready to serve.

Feel free to omit the bacon if you want to keep this recipe meat-free. You would just substitute the bacon grease for a high smoke point oil or butter.

I made this for my birthday dinner yesterday and it was AMAZING. I dnt even like brussel sprouts, but, the bacon and the balsamic reduction took it to a whole new level. The balsamic glaze was perfect with my tomahawk steak. Thank you for saving brussel sprouts, lord knows this is the best I have had them.

These were fantastic! Didn't have bacon but cooked them with diced onion & 2 cloves of garlic in avoc. oil & butter. Drizzled with balsamic vinegar & topped with gorgonzola cheese crumbles & served with chicken breast & basmati rice. We loved it! TY for great recipes.
