Seasonings:
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Paprika
Garlic salt
Seasoning salt
Chicken bouillon
Sazon
Black pepper
Eggs
Whole milk
Pickle juice
Hot sauce
Fried in vegetable oil
Oil temp 325 degrees

for the marinade 2 TBS of each seasoning and packet of the Sazon, 1/2 cup of pickle juice, milk to almost cover. Flour and cornstarch mix 2 cups of flour 1 cup of cornstarch, 3 TBS of each seasoning except Sazon (none). Vegetable oil to fry

The key to good fried chicken is getting the batter to taste just right. for this.. you need to experiment with ingredients and just the flour. cooking dough balls until you get the taste and flavor's just right. Dont worry about the chicken itself. If the breading tastes good then that translates to the chicken as a whole tasting good. tOnce you get the breading tasting right and cooking long enough not to burn before the chicken would otherwise be cooked (no sugars). Then you can move on to the chicken itself and how to marinate to get flavors to penetrate the meat. you need these 3 ingredients.. Buttermilk, meat tenderizer, and MSG. in order to get the flavors into the meat the meat fibers must break down for the ingredients to enter. Proper marinating will make your home cooking taste like restaurant quality.
