Don't group Poland together with Turkey and Hungary. Poland is a top tier ally, respect

As a Lithuanian I can easily say that we don't want Kaliningrad. The only thing we would want is land, but not the people...

The political vacuum caused by Putin’s death would make scenarios like this quite possible. Russia’s foreign policy is too dependent on a cult of personality for it to have any sense of direction.

I met a Russian seafarer in 2018, he said to me "I'm so homesick", I replied "For Russia", no he replied "Just Kaliningrad. I love Kaliningrad, I don't like Russia". Ouch!

If Russia would attack the Baltic States, Poland will just go through Kaliningrad, and maybe even Belarus.

It would be very smart for the people in Kaliningrad to go for independence from Russia, as they deserve, while Russia is spread out elsewhere. Being completely surrounded by NATO land and water, they could do it!

Kaliningrad is an EXclave, not an ENclave

Excellent apart from Poland. Poland has a big modernising army.

It would probably be for the best to let the people of Köningsberg to choose whether they want to join their neighbors or just gain independence.

In Poland it is called again "Królewiec" after Polish Voivodoship which was there in XV-XVII century.

Accidentally falling out a window has a name. It's called a defenestration.

Poland would absolutely stand up for the Baltic States. I'd be more worried about Germany caving in. They' are proving to be one of NATO's weak links.

This video contains some very false statements:
1. Poland would not hesitate to fight in defence of Baltic states. It just knows, that if russia takes over them, Poland is next.
2. There is no significant separatist movement in Kaliningrad area. Support for such ideas is absolutely marginal.
3. These days no one, neither Poland nor Lithuania, really wants any part of Kaliningrad. This is because of big russian population there and enormous cost, which would be required to upgrade this area to European standards.

If the Baltic states were under attack we would take them back through a liberated kaliningrad

Oh, and kaliningrad is an EXCLAVE not Enclave.

I see in the comments people from Germany, Poland and Lithuania having a healthy discussion on who should have kalinegrad, but let me remind you as a Portuguese and according to Tordesilas treaty that land should belong to Portugal. Cheers guys. Onwards to the liberation of Kalinegrad 😂

How many NATO states would risk all-out war over the Baltics?

Poland
Poland would invoke article 5 so fkn fast even if they had to fight the whole war alone

How thinking about retaking Kaliningrad is like ignoring the Versaille treaty
