Fruit Sugar | If Sugar Is Bad, How Can Fruit Be Healthy? is a video that teaches on how you can improve your health through understanding healthy fruits and high sugar fruits. Fruit is a topic of controversy quite often because there are so many people who are following a low carb diet. This no sugar diet does need to keep a close eye on fruit consumption and how it can alter your state and stop you from being a sugar fat burner and turn your body into a sugar burner. When you ask fruit sugar bad for you it all comes down to what you are trying to accomplish. Those trying to follow a keto diet must stay away from high sugar fruits that are kicking them out of ketosis. Those who are healing also must stay away from the fruits that are high in fructose because they need to focus on improving insulin sensitivity any way possible during this time. The thing that we have to remember is that fruit sugar vs processed sugar is very different. Processed sugar offers no benefit whereas fruit is loaded with antioxidants and micronutrients that are highly beneficial in many ways. When you consider fruit sugar good or bad you have to take in all the pros and cons and also what your health goals are.

Thank you so much for the info you give us. You're my favorite because you don't talk so much about nothing and you get straight to the point.

I loooovvve blueberries, my favourite, followed by strawberries, raspberries, then blackberries, then any other berry. I follow low carb / keto lifestyle (never say diet). For the high glycemic fruit I don’t touch at all.

I've been eating fruit & yogurt for breakfast and been getting sensitive teeth. Mainly Blueberries, Apples, White Grapes. Reluctant to give them up as I love fruit.

Many fruits are not what they used to be... They have been bred to increase their sugar content.

Exactly, I have high insulin, pre diebetic, and trying to lose weight. So obviously its better to not eat fruits. But when I lose weight and im healthy, ill allow myself to eat fruits once or twice a week.

I like the new style. If you are taking a statin, you need to avoid grapefruit. My go to fruit is strawberries. Occasionally I'll put an 1/2 banana in my protein shake after a workout.

I like the new style of video and want to see more of it! For fruit, it's primarily blackberries although I will occasionally treat myself to a red apple once or twice a week as a desert treat (I live in Upstate NY so apples are a big deal here). I've also been trying to eat more lemons as ketones can be acidic and run a risk of kidney stones so lemons help prevent that. I also find they help me personally with digestion and bloating. I'm also trying to have more grapefruit as well.

Fullyrawkristina a Youtuber says that eating only peaches for a week practically saved her life. So interesting...like you said natural is better.

As I only eat 20 g of carbohydrates per day, I equate a can of soda to an apple! A carb is a carb is a carb! Yes, fruits have lots of nutrients but at what cost. I would rather get my carbs from veggies. I realize that very occasional consumption of a small amount of fruit won’t hinder my overall goals but it makes for meagre meals when most of your carb allowance is taken up by fruit!

Nice idea for this style video. I enjoy your information. Strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries are my favorite to just eat or make smoothies, on cereal. Have some everyday. Strawberries are a core item in our house. Thank you for all your tips and good information on nutrition.

Great info on balanced use of fruit. I’ve always loved a lot of fruit, but have eaten much less of it since going mostly keto. I’m interested in your opinion on eating fruit seasonally ... eat what grows where you live, when it’s locally available. The influence of sunshine and our utilizing the fruit carbs. What day you?? Thank you!! 🙏🏻
