Appreciate these reviews of a complete bible. 😉. On a more serious note, this is by far the best done review I've seen of this study bible by anyone, Catholic or Protestant. Well done and thank you.

You did a fantastic job in reviewing the Didache Catholic Study Bible. Your reviews are far greater than what other reviewers I had listened to covering review of bibles. I grew up Catholic, but in my days Catholic study bibles were studied in Catholic high schools which I never attended, I went up to the 5th grade then to public school. I really enjoy your bible reviews, very honest and very informative. You present a balanced and honest review, thank you.

As a Catholic, it depends on the Catholic. I'm cool with Protestants that as long as they don't call me a "dirty Paegan" or "soulless Celt". It's cool you're showing the difference as it's without condemnation.

St paul wrote in one of his letters that TRADITION.was very important
Whether this tradition is written or passed down orally tradition.was not to be ignored

Even when I’m not in the market for a study Bible, I still enjoy watching your reviews for the little Nuggets of information and knowledge that you share.

Thank you for giving an open minded review of something outside your tradition. As a long time viewer I have appreciated your objective review of biblical material for a broad spectrum of beliefs. Your ministry is an amazing resource for people searching for study material to better understand God’s Word.

One of the best reviews I ever watched. I'm actually going to buy it because of this review. Thank you!

Good review. I wonder, as a Catholic, do Protestants add the extra bits about Catholicism to signify to other Protestants that they're still Protestants or is it because you genuinely don't understand the Catholic ways of reading scripture or the history of it and how this way developed over the past 2000 years as a way to conserve this tradition? E.g., I respect the Protestant choice to go with the 8th Century Masoretic Jewish scriptures over the 3rd Century Christian canon for the Old Testament. I don't agree with the choice to go with it, but I understand it. But if I were reviewing a Bible that was missing the 2nd-Canon I likely wouldn't even bring it up. Bible readers likely know the fact of them not being there. However I'd be interested in verses I know Catholics and Protestants interpret differently like John 6 and Revelations 12 and James 2.

Traditional Catholic here. You convinced me to buy it. Fair review, especially coming from a non-Catholic.

As Jesus prayed that all His disciples would be one, we too pray for unity of all believers. I like this guy's approach to presenting the different bibles objectively.

Thank you for this review. I appreciate all your videos and no condescension from me as a Catholic convert now because I grew up as a UMC child and was married in UMC too 😊. I always appreciate and respect other religions and don’t forget where I came from and grew in my faith of God. I still know by heart all the UMC songs /doxology etc 😁

Excellent review, as always, and as a nominal Catholic, I felt it was very fair.

I’m also very interested in checking out your video on Revelation, because I can’t for the life of me figure out any interpretation of Revelation 12 that’s not Mary.

I greatly appreciated this review! Especially the inclusion of the CCC alongside the study Bible. I feel you respected the Catholic faith quite well for being a Protestant throughout, which I enjoyed. One thing to keep in mind about the Church's reliance on the tradition that came before, is the teaching isn't in a vacuum. As you dig through that CCC, you'll find it's merely the tip of the iceberg of well over a thousand years of writings ranging from eye witnesses of Christs earthly ministry through present day. Many of the works cited by the CCC can be found and studied (and yes, picked apart if you want). For me, I found out the phrase "nothing is new under the sun" quite realistic. Everything we argue about today has been discussed long ago...
