Years after breaking my back, all I wanted to do was be able to stand without wanting to cry.

Never in a million years did I think learning how to restore movement and heal from my traumatic injury would lead me down the path of becoming an ultramarathon runner.

Healing, restoring movement, correcting muscle imbalances, and getting out of pain was the first phase of my journey.

Learning how to stay pain-free while using my body to fully experience life is now the second phase.
