It sounds like a metaphor for spiritual realization! That drag is like the energy field of situational karmas and kleshas, but with practice, it smooths out and lightens up as you start to see differently, understand differently, and repeated deeper and deeper depths of realization and understanding cut the drag and mass of the Samsaric habitual energy field until it gets so thin thin that we pop up out of it. !It fees like that too when realizations happen, like a ripping and tearing away, or thru, of a kind of energy veil or amniotic sac, caul. ( is that the right word for it, it’s that sack of membrane some babies are born inside of? Isn’t that called a caul? But this is an energy field encasing the meditator. Cool! Now I get it! And maybe that’s why a few yogis and old Christian saints can fly and keep floating away and have to be held down! They have popped out of the normal human energy field and their gravity has changed! It’s both spiritual realization and physics! Ha! Not different! What is the sound of one yogi popping out!??? 🙏🏻😎
