What do you think of the 30 30 30 rule?

No, the 4 Hour Body book by Tim Ferriss does not specifically mention a "30, 30, 30" concept. However, here are some relevant ideas from the book that may be related:

- 30 minutes of exercise: The book advocates short, high intensity strength training workouts lasting about 30 minutes, 3 times per week. This includes kettlebell, barbell and bodyweight routines.

- 30 grams of protein: Ferriss recommends eating at least 30g of protein within 30 minutes of waking up to boost metabolism and recovery.

- 30 item wardrobe: The book suggests limiting your wardrobe to versatile items that can be mixed and matched. Ferriss recommends only keeping about 30 essential pieces in your closet.

- 30 day challenges: Several 30-day diet, supplement and lifestyle experiments/challenges are outlined, like the slow-carb diet, eliminating artificial light after 10pm, and taking cold showers.

So in summary, the "30, 30, 30" concept is not explicitly mentioned, but the book does highlight the importance of 30 minutes of efficient exercise, getting 30g of protein shortly after waking, and 30 day self-experiments. The number 30 comes up frequently regarding metabolic boosting and rapid transformation tactics.

I too saw the Greg Breka TikTok’s. Per this- 30g protein within 30 mins of waking up and 30 mins of exercise keeping your HR >135bpm.
Seemingly our body burns fat during rest (hence the low cardio). I’m 1 week in, I’ve a lot more energy, no brain fog, ready for bed earlier and sleeping well. I’m 2lbs down also but feel it more so in my clothes. Please note, had already started eating healthier months prior! The additional benefits keep me going regardless of the weight element.

The 30x30x30 is based on what Gary Brecka Teaches. Based on burning fat instead of sugar and muscle.

The one I heard was, "30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up, immediately followed by 30 minutes of heart rate stable cardio (under 130 bpm). Sounds interesting but what are your thoughts?

Wrong subject - the aim is 30 grms protein, 30 mins after waking, 30 mins steady cardio fpr weight loss

Thank you for your content. It seems that everything is made so complicated, I will just follow the caloric intake.

I was hoping to clear something up, but you cant seem to get to the point, also you don't seem to have gripped what the 30 30 30 rule is.

My question, one of many I have about the 30, 30, 30 diet, is this. When does the 30 minutes start. I may wake up at 5am, to go to the bathroom and can’t go back to sleep for 25-30 minutes so I read. I go back to sleep wake up again at 7am. Should I eat at 5 knowing I’m going to be up for a bit but I’m going to be very sedimentary OR does the 30 start when I actually get up for the day. 2nd question. Can the 30 grams of protein be powered along with real food? Thanks for the insight

I don't get that "eat at breakfast" thing, I've been fasting 16-8, not eating from 9 pm to 1pm and I feel it made more a different than anything so far.
Usually I train before eating (around noon). Not getting any energy drop neither.
One thing though, I eat almost no carbs/sugars, ie: Keto / carnivore Inspired.

I understand to only eat when hungry. But sometimes I have to be at work before the sun is even up. I'm not hungry in the morning when I wake up but i eat breakfast.... if I dont I'll be starving an hour or two into working. Should I not be eating in the morning before work bc I'm not hungry?? Or is that okay so I'm not starving an hour into working?

So what should your diet look like the rest of the day then?

Seems like Gary keeps it keto

30 30 30 was based by a specific guy. Look into his actual plan and science behind it. Instead of pulling everyones opinion on it.

I saw Gary break on tik tok talking about it.

The reduction of calories but one being all processed foods and junk is not the same as a high protein diet with complex carbs and good fats. Stop it.
